When is the Gourmet Festival Düsseldorf?

The festival begins on Friday the 13th of August and ends on Sunday the 27th of August 2017.

What are the opening times?

Daily from 11am until 9pm. 

How do I get to the Gourmet Festival?

We recommend that our visitors arrive with public transport. There are many ways to reach Königsallee. The following stops can be approached in order to arrive directly or in combination with a short walk to Königsallee:  Graf- Adolf Platz, Benrather Straße, Heinrich- Heine Allee, Steinstraße-Königsallee as well as Shadow Platz. To find a more specific connection please use the journey planner: Arrival by car is also possible as there are many car parks around Königsallee charging different prices. For your information: Königsallee is a one-way street.

Is there an entry fee? 

No, entry is free.

How can I apply? What does it cost to take part?

By clicking on the link “For exhibitors” you will come to a price overview and the online registration form. Prices vary according to the size of the stand and any special requests. The prices are the same for the whole weekend. 

What do the tents look like? How big are they?

We only have white pagoda tents. These are equivalent to 3x3m, 4×4 and 5x5m. There is also the possibility to book half a tent (1,5x3m and 2x4m). You will find a picture and the dimension sheet here.

When can I start setting up? And when can I dismantle? 

The site can be approached via the side streets off Königsallee: Between 06:00 and 10:00 in the morning. Between 19:00 and 22:00 in the evening. The tents will be available for you to set up from 3pm on Thursday 24/08/2017. Participants are obliged to keep the tents occupied for visitors during opening times. All stands must remain occupied until 9pm on Sunday 27/08/2017. Early dismantling or clearing up of the tent will be met with a penalty.

Where can I park?

Parking on site is strictly not possible. Cars can be left nearby in multistories or public car parks. For larger vehicles (trailers, vans, lorries, etc.) we recommend the following “park and ride” – Spots: 1. TBC 2. TBC 

Who can I turn to with questions before and during the event?

Our Gourmet Festival team is there for you anytime and will happily answer any questions you may have. You can also reach us via the extension of the listed phone number on site or in the designated tent at the event.

Is the site guarded?

The site is guarded by a private security firm in the night on the eve of the event and at night during the event from 9pm until 9am the next day. There will be no security in the night between Sunday and Monday. We can gladly forward contact details to exhibitors wanting their own security staff at their stand.

Is there a washing up service?

We will operate 3 washing up tents on site. There you can have borrowed as well as your own glasses, mugs, plates, or cutlery washed by our washing staff. Please note that we can only handle your materials in customary sinks (50×50). The washing up service is subject to charge for the complete duration of the event. A washing up pass is delivered.
